Endorsements

The Guelph and District Labour Council has officially released its initial list of candidate endorsements for the upcoming municipal election. This announcement has generated significant excitement and sparked valuable conversations throughout the community regarding the candidate survey questions and criteria.

To support open public dialogue and assist voters in making informed choices, the complete candidate survey has been made available to everyone. Members of the community are encouraged to visit guelphlabour.ca to review the survey and use it as a resource to evaluate the candidates’ alignment with local priorities.

This remains an ongoing process. The Labour Council will continue to monitor campaigns, research candidates, and engage with those they are still getting to know. Additional endorsements may be announced this October.
